The overall objective of the action is to provide an assessment of Montenegro media reporting on the issues on counter violence extremism and to be able to account for its impact on media users, in particular aiming at building the capacity of state and non-state actors to effectively challenge radicalization and recruitment to terrorism while continuing to respect human rights and international law.
Through a set of meetings, a conference with professionals from Montenegro and the region and a detailed workshop for young professionals, the main goal of the project was to give media organizations and journalists tools for reporting the topics on terrorism professionally and also to educate citizens in order to discourage potential foreign fighters.
